Beth has been involved in swimming for over 25 years. She began swimming competitively at the age of 6 in Texas. She attended a small high school that did not have a swim team, so by the age of 14 she did most of her training with a club team. She attended Texas A&M University and earned a spot on their Division I swim team as a walk-on her freshman year. She swam for 2 years at Texas A&M and then transitioned to racing triathlons. Prior to moving to Colorado in 2016, Beth was the Varsity head coach for the Laguna Beach High School swim team in Laguna Beach, California and also coached for the Saddleback El Toro Club Team in Lake Forest, California. She is currently coaching for the Highlands Ranch High School Boys Co-op team. She has been married to her husband, Dana for 12 years and has a 5 year old daughter, Cameron. Beth enjoys swimming masters and trail running in her free time. She is passionate about coaching and loves helping young athletes develop and achieve their goals.
My name is Brady Kopec, and I have been swimming for 11 years. I have swam club since 2008, and am currently on the Aces swim club. My favorite stroke is freestyle and my favorite event is the 200 freestyle. I go to Mountain Vista High School where I will be a senior this fall. I can't wait to coach and be a part of the Wahoos again this summer!
I have been a part of the Cook Creek Wahoos team since I was 8 years old. Through the friendships I made on the team and the coaches that taught me, I came to love the sport of swimming. I began swimming competitively in 8th grade and was a state competitor and finalist on my High School team. This is my first year coaching and I am looking forward to the experience!
