I was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana and moved to Colorado in July 2020! I am a special education teacher in Denver Public Schools for kindergarten through 5th graders. I started swimming when I was 8 years old and swam club swimming through high school. My favorite events to swim were the butterfly and distance freestyle! I started teaching swimming lessons my freshman year of high school which then developed into a love of coaching. I have been an assistant coach and head coach in summer leagues in Indianapolis as well as an assistant coach at the high school level. I am currently one of the age group coaches for the Colorado Athletic Club Stingrays. This will be my 2nd year with the Wahoos and I am so excited to be a part of the Wahoos again this summer!
Hello everyone, my name is Ben Ruvins and I am beyond excited to coach with the Wahoos this summer! I have been in the world of swimming since I was 5 and through impacts of some amazing coaches and mentors I have fallen in love with swimming as a competitive sport. I have been with Wahoos fo over 7 seasons as a swimmer and swim year round with University of Denver Hilltoppers as well as am a proud swimmer for Highlands Ranch Ducks.
I am genuinely excited to work with and help develop swimmers and share my passion for the sport. Every year I look forward to the summer swim season and this year I am really looking forward to helping Wahoo swimmers achieve their goals, developing proper technique and foster a love for our sport. Here is to an amazing and fun Wahoo summer.
My name is Kayden Glauser, I am super excited to coach with the Wahoos this summer! My journey as a swimmer started on a swim team in Arizona when I was only 3 years old. I may have barely made it one pool length, but with lots of encouragement from great coaches, I discovered that I love to swim! This is my 5th season swimming with the Wahoos, so I am excited to work with new swimmers and lots of fellow returning swimmers! I love this swim program, and I look forward to summer swim each year. I currently swim with the Colorado Athletic Club Stingrays, and the Highlands Ranch Ducks, however the summer swim team is by far my favorite! I am really looking forward to helping your swimmers achieve their goals -while having fun and developing a love for swimming. Let's have the best summer yet!
