Practice Schedule The schedule is up to date on the website for you to look over. Practice starts in the evening on May 24th!! Only a week and a half away!! The link to the SignUp Genius for the week of May 24th has already been posted to the website. Due to capacity limitations, please stick to your swimmer's age group. We are doing the best we can to get all kids in the water and start the season off intentionally.

Fundraising/Social Co-Chair Needed Due to an upcoming move of a dear Board member, we are in need of assistance within the Fundraising and Social arena. Mary Margraf is staying on, but she is looking for a partner in crime to lighten the load. She has years of experience, so she is a GREAT mentor and leader to learn from. First Restaurant Night/Family Picnic of the Season, June 1st Help our Wahoo swimmers and give yourself a break from cooking by checking out Chipotle (9500 Heritage Hills Cir Ste 700, Lone Tree, CO 80124 location)for a quick and easy dinner! Please use the online code JATNCBQ to give Wahoos credit for your purchase. If you order in person or over the phone, you must mention the fundraiser before checking out. We are so excited to be able to get together as a team outside the pool deck! Please join us and bring your Chipotle over to Sweetwater Park for a picnic and socializing. Can't wait to see you there!

Mock Meet Wednesday, June 2nd at 5pm is our Mock Meet. We will have to limit the number of family members in attendance this year. A sign-up will go out soon so we can predict food needs. Here the swimmers practice with the starter horn, learn the routines of a meet and enjoy pizza on the lawn. Parents, it's your time to get questions answered, meet the Board and other parents. It's always fun, if not exciting when the weather turns on us!

Updates on Championship Qualifications Some families have not even realized this, but for those that are counting... Last night MHSL voted that the required number of practices for those swimming in Championships will be 5, instead of the original 10 in a "normal" season. In addition, they agreed to the required 1 participation in a dual meet vs the original 2 meet requirement. Due to boys' HS season being extended and the addition of a BYE week for some teams, this seemed like a fair decision.

Championships It will be at Smokey Hill HS for 5 days over the week of July 12th and will be combined with Prelims. Any swimmer can enter 3 events for their age group meet that week. Parents will only be allowed in the natatorium while their child's event is swimming and then they will need to return to our Wahoos team staging area within the school. I have attached our team poll responses to this email so you all can see how you voted.

Towel Fundraiser It's BACK!! Our annual towel fundraiser is back in action. Who all has a collection and can't wait to add to it. To be honest, I LOVE seeing them all in the closet ready for summer and sparking some great past memories! The towels are $30 and includes the monogramming. They are always a big hit and in team colors!! Find this year's towel selection here. The deadline for ordering is June 6th.

Suit Ordering The deadline for ordering a team suit is Monday, May 17th!! Just a reminder.
